Intended purpose
A device to determine the appropriate size and placement of an implant for a patient prior to or during surgery. It is available as a graduated set or an individual plate with patterns and/or sizes corresponding to the size of the implant to be used. It may be placed over an x-ray of the patient or on or within the patient's body to aid the surgeon in final selection of the implant size and/or placement. It is used for orthopaedic procedures and is a single-use device.
