Intended purpose
The Linear Cutter Reload Selectable has application in gastrointestinal surgery for transection, resection, and the creation of anastomoses and can be used with staple line or tissue buttressing materials.
Functional description
sterile, single use patient use instrument used in open surgical procedures. The instrument delivers six staggered rows of staples, three on either side of the cut line. The staple height is selectable to accommodate various tissue thicknesses using one cartridge/reload.
