Intended purpose

Indicated for use in general tissue approximation, including use in paediatric cardiovascular tissue where growth is expected to occur and ophthalmic surgery.

Functional description

Absorbable, monofilament, synthetic, sterile, surgical suture prepared from the polyester, poly(p-dioxanone). Available undyed clear and dyed violet to enhance visibilty in tissue. Available with or without needles.
