Intended purpose
Violet long-term absorbable synthetic monofilament suture made of polydioxanone. For use in orthopaedics (tendons, joint capsule), paediatric cardiovascular surgery, general surgery and abdominal wall closure.
Functional description
Synthetic long-term absorbable monofilament, degradation by hydrolysis within 180-210 days. For use in general soft tissue approximation, specially in cases where an extended wound support of more than 4 weeks is desirable, paediatric cardiovascular surgery and for the suturing of autologous peripheral vessels.
