Latitude Communicator Model 6290 - Transtelephonic implantable pacemaker analysis system

Intended purpose

The Latitude NXT Patient Management System Communicator is intended to remotely communicate with a compatible Boston Scientific implanted device and transfer data to a central database. The Latitude NXT system provides patient data that can be used as part of the clinical evaluation of the patient.

Functional description

The wave wireless communicator is an in-home monitoring device for patients. The Communicator automatically reads implanted device info for daily device checks & scheduled follow-ups. It sends the data to the LATITUDE NXT server through a cellular data network using Latitude Cellular Data Plan. It isn’t intended to assist with medical emergencies & doesn’t provide continuous real-time monitoring. The system provides periodic patient monitoring based on clinician configured settings
