Intended purpose

A removable endpiece that is attached to an ultrasonic dental surgical system handpiece, and makes contact with a patient while oscillating at high frequency in order to mechanically fragment and cut bone during dental surgery. The device is available in a variety of forms and sizes and is used for tooth extractions, retrograde tooth preparations, procedures on the bone, periodontal treatment, sinus lift and implant-site preparation.
