Intended purpose

The medical device combines two technologies: Ultrasound and low intensity Electric current in a coordinated, modulated manner. The combination (ultrasound + electric fields) is varied over the course of the treatment (frequency + intensity) in order to treat chronic wounds most effectively. The intended purpose of the system is the relief of pain and the healing of soft tissue injury caused by chronic wound management.
