Intended purpose

The RECLAIM™ Conical Proximal Body is one of the components of RECLAIM™ Revision Hip System. It is composed of individually packaged components, including metal distal stems, metal proximal components and metal locking bolt assembly. Reclaim Revision Hip System is indicated for cementless use in total hip arthroplasty and composes of individually packaged metal femoral hip stem (distal stem, proximal component, and locking bolt assembly components designed to replace the natural articular surface of the hip joint. The Tensile Bar is an instrument used to aid implant assembly.

Functional description

The Reclaim Conical Promixal Body is made from Titanium and is coated allowing for cementless fixation. Using a locking bolt for additional fixation, the Reclaim Conical Promixal Body press-fits onto the Reclaim Distal Stem and a femoral head press fits onto the neck.
