Intended purpose
The RECLAIM™ Tapered Distal Stem Cementless is one of the components of RECLAIM™ Revision Hip System. It is composed of individually packaged components, including metal distal stems, metal proximal components and metal locking bolt assembly. Reclaim Revision Hip System is indicated for cementless use in total hip arthroplasty and composes of individually packaged metal femoral hip stem (distal stem, proximal component, and locking bolt assembly components designed to replace the natural articular surface of the hip joint. The Tensile Bar is an instrument used to aid implant assembly.
Functional description
The Reclaim Distal Tapered Stem is made from titanium and allows for the press-fit of the Reclaim Proximal Body. The Reclaim Distal Tapered Stem is grit-blasted allowing for cementless fixation into the femoral canal.
