Intended purpose
A sterile implantable femoral component of a total hip prosthesis designed to replace the femoral neck and stem to be used with bone cement. Indicated for; - Primary and secondary arthrosis - Rheumatoid and degenerative arthritis - Deformities, such as dysplasia - Fractures and necrosis of bone - Revisions, where other devices or treatments have failed - Metastatic diseases
Functional description
Cemented collarless stainless steel stem with a mirror polished surface and standard stem CCD angle: 135°. The implant section is rectangular with round corners to increase rotational resistance without transfer of excessive stress peaks to the bone cement. The Implant metaphyseal area has a double wedge shape to compress the surrounding bone cement mantle.
