ACS SC Femoral Component Cemented - Uncoated knee femur prosthesis

Intended purpose

A cemented femoral component of the ACS knee system for use in knee arthroplasty. Knee arthroplasty with the ACS Knee System is indicated, if - severe joint destruction with significant impairment where other therapeutic measures are not more promising. - severe joint pain due to degenerative or rheumatoid arthritis, joint fractures or bone necrosis. - post-operative conditions after previous surgery with or without the use of implants.

Functional description

CoCrMo alloy with TiN coating. Has an open box and femoral spindle, which interact with the peg of the PE-insert and contribute to stabilization of the knee joint. Stem extensions can be used by a conical connection via an offset adapter. The femoral cone has an integrated valgus of 6°, which facilitates the use of stem extensions. Possible to attach posterior and distal spacer to compensate femoral defects. The spacers are fixed with a screw at the inner surface of the component.
