PANTHEON Distal Femur - Uncoated knee femur prosthesis
Device Dossier for PANTHEON Distal Femur - Uncoated knee femur prosthesis (Uncoated knee femur prosthesis, Class III, sponsor Adler Ortho). ARTG record,…
- GMDN category: Uncoated knee femur prosthesis
Intended purpose
A distal femoral body component intended to be used with the modular Pantheon Distal Femur Reconstruction (DFR) for the reconstruction of the distal femur in case of severe distal femoral bone loss in knee revision surgery (due to infection, fracture, failed TKA) or in case of bone tumor.
Functional description
Features anatomical shape made of Co-Cr-Mo alloy. Compatible with the PANTHEON SALVAGE, GENUS PANTHEON hinge & through conical coupling, with the Pantheon shafts, bridging collars and Salvage stems. The anterior flange has a wide patellar groove. Geometry of the proximal part of the distal femur is streamlined to reduce the invasiveness and reduce tensions on the extensor apparatus of the soft tissues, thus favouring the suturing operation in the anatomical planes.
