Intended purpose

Freedom® Total Knee System is also indicated to be used for revision knee arthroplasty in patients who has sufficient bone stock with soft tissue integrity and who previously undergone total knee arthroplasty.

Functional description

The device is an Uncoated Stemmed PCK femoral component of a total knee replacement system offered in left/right configurations in 8 sizes (A/P, M/L), adapted from PS to accept augments and stem. The Uncoated Stemmed PCK femoral component is fabricated from Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy. The device functions by replacing damaged femoral surfaces, restoring articulation with tibial inserts enabling stability.
