Intended purpose

A device used to repair or replace the tibial plateau of the knee joint. Indications: Painful, disabling joint disease of the knee resulting from: degenerative arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or post-traumatic arthritis. Post-traumatic loss of knee joint configuration and function. Moderate varus, valgus, or flexion deformity in which the ligamentous structures can be returned to adequate function and stability. Revision of previous unsuccessful knee replacement or other procedure. TS Components Only: Severe anteroposterior and medial/lateral instability of the knee joint.

Functional description

The TS design of the tibial component has raised tibial eminence designed for increased anterior/posterior constraint, resistance to posterior subluxation and varus/valgus stability. The tibial tray is made of cobalt chromium alloy and is packaged together with a CoCr cap screw and is intended to be used with cement.
