Intended purpose
Used for replacing the proximal tibial bone surface (tibial component) during bicondylar replacement of the knee joint. Indicated for severe knee joint conditions that cannot be treated through other therapies: - Degenerative osteoarthritis - Rheumatoid arthritis - Posttraumatic arthritis - Symptomatic knee instability - Knee stiffness - Deformation of the knee joint
Functional description
The Columbus CR PS tibial component is a fixed plateau which can be combined with the Columbus CR femoral component and CR, DD or UC gliding surface or Columbus PS femoral component and PS gliding surface. Cement pockets with a depth of 1mm are provided on the cementing surface of the tibia plateau to guarantee a minimum thickness of the cement mantle. Made from CoCrMo. For cemented use.
