Intended purpose

The metallic offset adaptors, used optionally by surgeons, serve to change the distance from the center of the stem to the center of the attaching boss of the implant in three increments, 2.5 mM, 5.0 mM and 7.5mM about the transverse axis. The adaptors are universal to the tibia and femur and have a scale for determining rotational alignment in conjunction with a mark on the tibial tray and femoral component mating bosses.
