Intended purpose
The SIGMA Revision Knee System is intended to replace articulating elements of a damaged knee joint where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components.
Functional description
The M.B.T Revision Tibial Tray is an uncoated cobolt-chromium tibial tray that is cemented into the tibia. A polyetheylene insert sits in the cone of the tibial tray and is free to rotate. The MBT revision tray allows for the attachment of tibial augments, sleeves, and ancillary PFC Sigma extensions to provide additional stability to accomodate for tibial bone loss.
