Intended purpose
The Persona Revision Tibia Fixed Non-Porous is a component of the Persona Revision Knee System, which is a constrained revision knee prosthesis system. This device is indicated for patients with severe knee pain and disability due to: This device is indicated for patients with severe knee pain and disability due to: • Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, polyarthritis. • Collagen disorders, and/or avascular necrosis of the femoral condyle. • Post-traumatic loss of joint configuration, particularly when there is patellofemoral erosion, dysfunction or prior patellectomy. • Moderate valgus, varus, or flexion deformities. • The salvage of previously failed surgical attempts or for a knee in which satisfactory stability in flexion cannot be obtained at the time of surgery.
Functional description
Fixed Tibial component made of Tivanium® and has an anatomic and asymmetric profile. Features 3° posterior slope designed for 0° tibial resection and a central dovetail to provide a secure interface with the articular surface. The distal surface features 3 broad finned keels designed to accept the required stem extensions; and 4 blind threaded holes designed for attachment of augments. A transverse set screw in the keel serves as secondary lock to the stem extension taper. For cemented use only.
