Intended purpose
A proximal tibia component intended to be used as part of the modular PANTHEON Distal Femur Replacement (DFR) and / or PANTHEON Proximal Tibial Replacement (PTR) for total knee reconstruction in case of severe bone loss in knee revision surgery (due to infection, fracture, failed TKA) or in case of bone tumor.
Functional description
Made of Co-Cr-Mo alloy. Features diaphyseal fixation and is mobile bearing. Anterior porous Co-Por surface with through-holes to allow anchoring to the soft tissues with sutures. Central hole to receive central pivot of compatible inserts. Lean geometry for less invasiveness of the component and to reduce tensions on the extensor apparatus of the soft tissues. Compatible, through conical coupling, with the Pantheon shafts, bridging collars and Salvage stems.
