- GMDN category: Uncoated unicondylar knee femur prosthesis
Intended purpose
The MOTO Partial Knee System is intended to provide increased patient mobility and reduced pain by replacing the damaged knee joint, if there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components Partial replacement of the articulating surfaces of the knee is indicated when only one compartment of the joint is affected due to the compartmental primary degenerative or post-traumatic degenerative disease, previous tibial condyle or plateau fractures, deformity or revision of previous arthroplasty.
Functional description
The Moto Cemented Femoral Component is manufactured from Co-Co-Mo and is designed for replacing the natural articular surface of a femoral condyle. The anatomic femoral Component is characterized by an eternal shape that is anatomically oriented; the distal condyle is curved and not straight in accordance to the anatomical shape of the medial condyle. The design of the component has been defined to fit the medial compartment of the femur and replicate its anatomic shape and dimensions.
