Intended purpose

The MOTO Partial Knee System is intended to provide increased patient mobility and reduced pain by replacing the damaged knee joint, if there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components Partial replacement of the articulating surfaces of the knee is indicated when only one compartment of the joint is affected due to the compartmental primary degenerative or post-traumatic degenerative disease, previous tibial condyle or plateau fractures, deformity or revision of previous arthroplasty.

Functional description

The Moto tibial insert is manufactured form UHMWPE and is designed to be fixed on the tibial tray. The inserts have the same external shape of the corresponding size of tibial tray to optimise coverage of the medial condyle. The insert is fixed on the tibial tray with a clipping mechanism and it is designed to articulate with the femoral component.
