Intended purpose
Intended Use: These devices are intended for knee arthroplasty Indications: • Partial replacement of the articulating surfaces of the knee when only one side of the knee joint is affected due to the compartmental primary degenerative or post-traumatic degenerative disease, previous tibial condyle or plateau fractures, or deformity in the affected compartment. • The Oxford Fixed Lateral bearings are indicated for use in the lateral compartment and intended to be implanted with bone cement.
Functional description
The device consists of an anatomically contoured, D-shaped tibial bearing component, specifically designed for the left and right lateral compartments to provide optimal bone coverage. Featuring anterior relief to prevent impingement and features an inferior keel for secure fixation and enhanced implant stability. Intended for use with a compatible femoral component, it facilitates partial knee replacement in the lateral compartment.
