Intended purpose

HEALTHPORT Venous is indicated to be implanted in the central venous system for mid and long term use, in order to permit repeated infusion of therapeutic solutions such as chemotherapy, antibiotics, nutrients, blood products and in addition the collection of blood samples.

Functional description

The HEALTHPORT Venous is indicated for long-term use, in order to permit repeated infusion of therapeutic solutions such as chemotherapy, antibiotics, nutrients, blood products, and in addition, the collection of blood samples. The HEALTHPORT Venous is specially indicated for those patients undergoing long-term therapy who require repeated access for continuous infusion or bolus injection. HEALTHPORT Power is also indicated for “Power" injection of contrast media up to max flow rate of 5ml/s.
