Intended purpose
Ventilator software intended for automated adjustment of ventilation and/or oxygenation variables to assist the user in maintaining the patient’s PetCO2 and/or SpO2 values within the target ranges and limits set and monitored by healthcare professionals.
Functional description
Ventilator software, based on the Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) mode, that regulates CO2 elimination as well as oxygenation for both passive and active patients based on physiologic data from the patient (SpO2 and PetCO2 or RR) and clinician-set target ranges. The clinician sets targets for the patient and the system adjusts ventilation and oxygenation parameters in order to keep the patient’s parameters within target ranges.
