Intended purpose
An image processing workstation specifically intended for use with x-ray based diagnostic imaging system eg digital x-ray system, x-ray CT system or fluoroscopy system. Does not contain the controls for the direct operation of the imaging system. Receives and transmits data both on-line and off-line. Configured to provide capability to further process, manipulate and/or view patient images and information collected from x-ray based imaging systems.
