Intended purpose

Salix is a software application that is intended to assist health professionals assess patients at risk of coronary artery disease. The software post-processes CT images using artificial intelligence algorithms to detect and localize radiological findings. Salix is used as an adjunctive tool and is not intended as a replacement to a health professional’s comprehensive review or their clinical judgment that considers other information from the CT images and the patient history.
