PRIMUS, DEXUUM T, DEXUUM T QUANTAM, AND EXCELLUS are all models of OsteoSys bone densitometers that measure bone density. PRIMUS is a whole-body analyser for bone mineral density, body composition, and bone morphology. Using a Narrow fan beam it can scan the entire body or a specific area. EXCELLUS is a half body fan beam DXA scanner capable of measuring BMD and analysing a half body composition. By measuring between the shoulders and the knees you can analyse fat mass and lean mass and diagnose patient obesity types at gynoid or android. DEXUUM T is a space saving compact DXA axial table scanner. It’s optimised system with pencil beam scanning allows for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and measurement of BMD for post-menopausal women and men who are over 50. DEXUUM T QUANTUM - is a space saving 4 channel dual DXA capable of providing fast Bone mineral density measurements due to its fan beam technology. The intended purpose of all 4 models is to measure/calculate bone mineral density (osteoporosis), subcutaneous fat, and fracture risk.
