Intended purpose

Peripheral quantitative computed tomograph for measurement at femur, radius or tibia. This diagnostic x-ray computed tomography system is used for the measurement and determination of bone density, geometrical parameters of bone and soft tissue distribution with peripheral quantitative computed tomography. Enables discrimination of physiological and pathological changes in bone with respect to muscle function (metabolic bone disorders from disuse conditions).
