Intended purpose

This limited view field, Helical Breast CT scanning system uses radiography to produce high resolution tomograms of the mammary gland, the surrounding breast tissue and the chest wall. This Breast CT system is used for diagnostic imaging of patients having abnormal or suspicious screening examinations, as well as patients experiencing signs or symptoms of, or indicating changes in breasts. Each breast is scanned and examined separately.
