Sterilisation packaging tape is a non-sterile flexible band typically made of paper, coated on one side with pressure-sensitive adhesive, used to seal packages of instruments, utensils, or medical devices wrapped in drapes or sterilisation packaging prior to sterilisation in hospitals or other facilities. The tape typically has indicators on its non-adhesive side that darken to indicate that the package has been sterilised, providing visual confirmation that sterilisation conditions have been met.
