Anti-decubitus alternating-pressure chair cushion systems consist of an assembly of devices including an alternating-pressure cushion and a dedicated pump functioning as the control unit, designed to actively change an occupant's buttocks-chair contact points to relieve pressure points and prevent pressure sores.
