Urological irrigation catheters are flexible tubes inserted into the bladder via the urethra to pass fluids to or from the urinary bladder. These devices are used to flush the urinary bladder and associated structures , and may also be employed during urodynamics studies to measure pressure in the bladder and urethra to assess lower urinary tract function.
