Device Category Dossier for Cement spacer mould. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Cement spacer moulds are devices into which prepared bone cement is poured or injected to form a mould , and after the bone cement has cured, the spacer is removed from the mould and placed into the joint space . These devices are used in two-stage joint revision typically to treat joint arthroplasty infection , where the spacer remains in the joint until the infection clears and it is replaced with a conventional joint prosthesis .
