Chisel and osteotome blade handles are reusable hand-held surgical instruments that accept and lock compatible chisel or osteotome blades to form a single-bladed instrument for cutting or shaping bone. These devices are used in dental implant procedures for preparation of osteotomy sites, including bone condensing, ridge expansion, and sinus floor elevation, and are also employed in orthopaedic surgery.
