Device Category Dossier for Corneal marker. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Corneal markers are reusable manual instruments made of high-grade stainless steel with a long slender handle used to imprint, indent, and incise corneal or other ocular tissue during ophthalmic surgical or perioperative procedures. These devices are employed in ophthalmic surgery either with a corneal marking pad to transfer ink to the anterior of the eye or with a slit-lamp to precisely incise vertical and horizontal points for precision alignment.
