Dental template retention pin

Dental template retention pins are small metal pins designed to anchor custom-made surgical templates fitted over the ridge of existing teeth and/or gum, inserted through lateral guide holes in the template and pressed into pre-drilled holes in the jawbone. These devices provide initial stability during the first stage of dental implantation procedures where teeth are missing and a template guides the dentist to the correct drilling positions for implants.
