Diaphysis prostheses are modular devices comprising resection elements, intramedullary nails inserted into the intramedullary canal, screws, and connectors made of metal such as titanium. They are intended for long-term stabilisation of segmental bone defects in the humerus, femur or tibia due to osteomyelitis, trauma, bone tumours, or non-healed fractures after osteosynthesis or revision arthroplasty.
