Transparent adhesive film dressings are clear polyurethane films with adhesive backing used to cover and protect minimally exudative wounds. These dressings are used for peripheral and central intravenous catheters as well as for minor abrasions, superficial skin ulcers, donor sites, closed surgical wounds, minor burns and skin tears.
