Reaming handpieces are hand-held devices used during surgical procedures that allow the connection of reaming devices and powered hand drills. They are employed during hip, knee, shoulder, elbow or wrist arthroplasty, spinal fusion or trauma surgeries to prepare bone sites by sawing, boring and shaping to accept orthopaedic implant devices.
