Electrocardiographs detect, register, and record the electrical signals produced by heart activity and reproduce these signals as an electrocardiogram, typically in printed form, on a display, or in digital media. These devices acquire ECG signals from adult and paediatric patients through body surface electrodes and are used in hospitals and healthcare facilities to analyse and diagnose heart disease, including during stress exercise testing.
