Self-adhesive electrodes are used in conjunction with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) devices to deliver mild electrical impulses to the skin surface in order to support temporary pain relief by stimulating sensory nerves. These electrodes are suitable for adult use and may be applied during labour as part of non-pharmacological pain management strategies or in other clinical contexts where TENS therapy is recommended.
