Endoscope working-channel valves are devices fitted to an endoscope biopsy port that enable access and exchange of endoscopic devices whilst maintaining insufflation and minimising leakage of biomaterial during endoscopic procedures. These valves are used across various endoscopic procedures including ureteroscopy and cystoscopy to resist backflow of fluid around instruments inserted through the working channel and to stabilise additional endoscopic instruments.
