Endotherapy electrosurgical electrodes are long thin devices inserted through the working channel of a compatible endoscope and connected to a radio-frequency generator which supplies energy transmitted to the distal end of the device. They are used for the vaporisation, ablation, coagulation and/or resection of soft tissues and structures typically during gynaecological, urological, pulmonary, or gastrointestinal endotherapy surgical procedures.
