Spinal fixation systems consist of components including ring nuts, upright rods, ring set screws, crossbars and polyaxial pedicle screws that mechanically stabilise the spine by anchoring to vertebral bodies. These devices are used in spinal fusion procedures for skeletally mature patients with conditions including degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, fractures and abnormal spinal curvature.
