Haemofilters are single-use devices that provide blood purification via diffusion, convection and adsorption through a semipermeable membrane. They are indicated for use in critically ill patients with a body weight equal to or greater than 30 kg for hemoperfusion and renal replacement therapies including SCUF, CVVH, CVVHD and CVVHDF.
