Humeral body trial prostheses are copies of final humeral body prostheses designed to validate the proper size of the permanent prosthesis required by the patient and to ensure its proper orientation and positioning before primary or revision implant surgery. These devices connect to a humeral stem prosthesis and articulate with a standard humeral head prosthesis, or connect to a reverse shoulder prosthesis cup, and are made of metal and/or polymer.
