Intracardiac pacemaker

Device Category Dossier for Intracardiac pacemaker. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Leadless pacemakers are pulse generators with built-in batteries and electrodes designed for implantation directly into the cardiac chambers, either the right atrium or right ventricle, to provide bradycardia pacing. These devices sense intrinsic cardiac signals and deliver cardiac pacing therapy within the implanted chamber, and may operate with another co-implanted unit to provide dual chamber pacing therapy in patients with bradycardia and conduction abnormalities.
