Suction/irrigation pumps are devices that introduce irrigant solutions into organs, joints, and operating fields whilst suctioning off irrigant solutions and bodily fluids, secretions, tissue, and gas during diagnostic or therapeutic interventions. These systems are used to provide distention, fluid irrigation and aspiration during diagnostic and surgical endoscopic procedures, as well as to monitor the volume difference between the irrigation fluid flowing into and out of the patient.
