Non-adhesive retention bandage

Device Category Dossier for Non-adhesive retention bandage. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Cohesive and non-adhesive bandages are self-adhering strips of woven or crepe material that do not stick to skin or hair, designed to wrap around body parts and provide support without adhesive. These devices are used for light to medium compression, holding dressings and casts in place, reducing swelling, and stabilising muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints following strains and sprains.
