Optical surgical navigation device tracking system

Stereotaxic image guidance systems use stereotaxic guidance referenced to a patient's rigid anatomy to assist surgeons in spatially positioning and orienting surgical instruments during open surgical procedures. These systems are used intraoperatively to guide bone preparation and implant positioning in orthopaedic procedures including total hip arthroplasty, spine surgery with pedicle screw placement, and other skeletal fixation procedures across multiple anatomical sites.
